Sukrin healthy baking review & recipe

Hello, hope you are all having a great Monday!

I definitely have been taking full advantage of my day off today, so I decided to bake some yummy nutritious treats with my new Sukrin products.

I firstly wanted to test how good their own all-purpose baking mix was.

The box states that the mixture is sugar-free, lactose free, and gluten free.

So it’s fair to say I was pretty sceptical about what this would taste like.

All the instructions were on the back, and all I needed to do was add a little bit of oil, water and 4 eggs!

I decided on making a swirl cake with the baking mix, and I must say it turned out great.

I just added some raw cacao powder to one half of the batter and then mixed it in a baking tin.

This low-carb and low-calorie cake tasted really delicious. For all those gluten-feee and lactose free babes out their, this is your absolute saviour!!

It tastes so light and fluffy, it’s actually hard to believe that there’s no sugar in it AT ALL.

I would definitely rate this product a 8/10.

I then tried a new recipe with the Sukrin gold, and coconut flour.

• 1/4 cup melted coconut oil

• 1/3 cup honey, agave nectar or maple syrup

• 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

• 2 eggs, slightly beaten

• ¼ cup unsweetened almond milk

• 1/2 cup sukrin coconut flour & 1 teaspoon of sukrin gold

• ½ teaspoon baking soda

• ¼ teaspoon salt

• 3 oz your favorite dairy free dark chocolate bar, coarsely chopped

1 Preheat oven to 180 degrees C. Spray 8×8 inch baking pan with nonstick cooking spray.

2 In a large bowl, whisk together coconut oil, honey, vanilla, eggs, and almond milk. In a separate medium bowl whisk together coconut flour, baking soda, and salt. Add dry ingredients to wet ingredients and mix until just combined and batter is smooth. Fold in chopped chocolate, reserved a few tablespoons for sprinkling on top if desired.

Bake for 20 minutes.

The texture came out super fluffy, and they almost melted in my mouth.

The coconut flavour wasn’t too over-powering either, it was just the right amount of coconut for my liking.

This recipe was super easy to make and the Sukrin products were so good to work with.

I rate these products 10/10.

The fact that they have so much health benefits, and no hidden nasty additives just makes baking my healthy goodies so much more enjoyable.
