Blogmas day 4: My favourite Christmas films

Hello lovelies,

Today’s post is a very festive one, i’m going to rank my top five fave films for this season.

On my list there are definitely some that will make the whole family giggle and others that just remind us of the whole sentiment of Christmas, and some that will stick with me forever as childhood faves.

So let’s get stuck in…

Coming in at number 5… The Santa Claus

A classic favourite of mine, an old time comedic film that brings true joy to Christmas. It’s an easy watch, and a great Walt Disney film.

4. Miracle on 34th Street

I love this one! It’s a good mix of a soulful story with a romantic twist. It teaches all young children the true meaning of Christmas, and to never stop believing.

3. Santa Claus: The movie

This has always been a Christmas classic. Growing up in my house this was always on the tele. It reminds me of when I was younger, snuggled up on the sofa waiting for my Sunday dinner.

2. ELF

This is sure to put a smile on anyone’s face, it came in close second. It’s full of humour, and reminds us all of what’s important at Christmas… Family!

Of course, number 1 (drum roll please)

…Home alone 1 & 2

I remember a few years ago my brother bought me the complete box set. I’m still to watch the newest versions but I don’t think anything will beat Macaulay Culkin; He just made those films. I think it will always be my all time favourite Christmas film.

Let me know what Christmas films you and you’re family will be watching this year, and what your number one is!
