Today’s i’m sharing a little recipe for all the peanut butter lovers out there!
This recipe was inspired when I was craving something really sweet, but had not even an ounce of chocolate in sight.
So what do you do when there’s no delicious treats to snack on? You raid your cupboards.
A few ingredients later, came these beauties…
Sticky peanut butter cookies
– 1 cup of peanut butter
– 1 cup of maple syrup
– 1 cup of oats
– 2 heaped tablespoons of cocoa powder
Whisk the peanut butter and maple syrup together until combined.
Once mixed, heat until they are fluffy (I put them in the microwave for 30-60 seconds).
Mix oats into fluffy mixture, and then add the cocoa powder.
Roll into balls, press fork down on top of them to flatten, and freeze for 15 minutes and store in fridge.
Makes on average 10 cookies (depending on size).
These were ultimately the perfect sugar fix, super simple and easy to make, and not too naughty either if you’re trying to stick to a healthy and nutritious diet!
Hope you enjoy making these scrumptious cookies as much as I did eating them… well not all of them, I might of saved one or two.
Let me know below if you’ve tried them, and comment below if you have any similar recipes that you think I’d like.
