Hello you lovely lot,
As you all know I LOVE my health and fitness but recently I’ve been feeling quite unmotivated.
I’ve been extremely busy as I’ve just had my 21st birthday so going to the gym and eating healthily hasn’t been my priority.
Drinking and having a good time with my family and friends took a front seat, and well anything fitness related took a very looooong walk to the back seat.
One tip I always give people when they feel like they’re loosing their ‘mo-Jo’ is to change things up and always set yourself goals when things are starting to get a bit repetitive.
One thing that always seems to unmotivate me is when I don’t see changes, that is why it is always key to switch things up a little and keep your workouts exciting.
So this is why I have decided to set myself on an 8-week challenge and post weekly updates on my blog for you all.
I want to do this so that I can be held accountable, and motivate myself through the eyes of my blog!
This is really different to anything I’ve ever done before, so really don’t know how well (or bad) it’s going to turn out, but I’m going to try it anyway.
I will track all my food intake, keep you up to date with my exercise routine, take pictures of my progress, and most importantly, tell you exactly how I’m feeling throughout these next 8 weeks.
I will allow myself 1-2 treats a week (just to keep me sane), and because I do have a few events coming up, I know that drinking and socialising can’t be fully removed over the next few weeks, so I will just incorporate them into my ‘cheat’ meals and allowances.
My challenge will begin tomorrow and run right up until Wednesday 9th May.
